From time to time I pick a newspaper I do not draw for and from a state where I do not work in and try to draw a cartoon based on what is in that publication. Most of these drawings never see the light of day. Indeed most never even get inked. In this case however the drawing came out well. So here is a cartoon taken from the pages of the Chicago Defender.
