Sometimes, not often, I make sketches before drawing the final version of the cartoon. Here's one. Notice I make a reference here to Babara Cubin's famous cookies from when she served in the Wyoming legislature. In the end I felt the reference to obscure and that many wouldn't understand it. Below is the finished cartoon.
